The British Palomino Society would like to invite you to become involved in an exciting new venture.
The British Palomino Society is revamping and re-launching the National Championship Show. This year it is to become a two day ‘Festival of Gold’. The show is being held on 12th & 13th July at Three Counties Showground, Malvern and we attract competitors from nationwide. Schedules available at www.britishpalominosociety.co.uk
The society itself has expanded to include other cream ‘variants’ on a special register. The variants register is to include (amongst others) Buckskins, Cremellos, Perlinos, Duns and palominos who do not meet the criteria to join the main palomino register.
Day one of the show will be the ‘BPS Open Performance Gala’ this day will be open to ALL colours, but with special prizes and recognition to the highest placed Cream Variant in each class and section. The day has a performance theme and will include Dressage and Show Jumping. Ridden showing (sports horse, retrained racehorse, side saddle, western etc) and potential sports and performance inhand showing. Various championships including one just for local competitors.
Also as a light hearted element to the day we are holding a ‘Tipplers Challenge’ this I am sure will prove to be highly entertaining and popular with the spectators!
Day two will be The British Palomino Society National Championships. On this day there is Ridden and Inhand showing. Classes are held for fully registered Palominos. This year we are also holding showing classes purely for Variants and Cremellos. The pinnacle of the day being the awards of the Ridden Supreme National Champion and the Inhand Supreme National Champion.
The show is affiliated the Cherif Championships, Equifest, Cricklands, Equestrian Life Championships and the 15+ horse society and is being advertised in the national equine press.
I am looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor classes, championships and principal show sponsors for both days. Sponsorship packages start from as little as £25 and I can tailor packages to individual requirements. Prizes in kind also needed.
We have trade stand pitches available at £20 per day. Sponsors trade stands are £10 per day or Free if providing a prize with their sponsorship.
