Hereford Equestrian is 11 today!

11 years ago today, this website was born. The idea was hatched as a result of constantly answering questions which I was being asked daily while teaching. They are the same sort of questions every riding coach is asked regularly…… “what’s on…..” or “where can I find….” or “where can I buy…..” or “do you know of any…..”  So on 23rd July 2003 I decided to ‘give it a go’ and try and answer all those questions in one place.  Within 24 hours I’d bought the domain name and some website building software and launched a homepage! The planning followed afterwards, as did the design and layout of the site which were changed and developed to suit the needs of the website content, with the main objective being to provide the information required in an easy to navigate site.

11 years on and the website covers much more than just Herefordshire. It extends into all the counties surrounding Herefordshire – Powys, Monmouthshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire and even further afield.  But the site isn’t just used by locals, it is visited from all over the world and the website traffic continues to grow year on year. I never dreamt it would grow as much as it has!

So…..thank you so much for using the site and for your support and loyalty.  I get immense satisfaction from hearing people say: “Look on Hereford Equestrian”!
