I have recently bought a new horse and wish to start showing with her.
She has been beautifully produced and although she is only 6 years old, she has been to the big shows in England, and done well [always in the ribbons]
I haven’t partaken in much showing at all, apart from the annual local show, and that was with my hairy cob.
My new mare is a black tobiano 15hh Coloured Native [Traditional x Welsh D]
She has a green passport as part bred Welsh, and is registered with CHAPS & BSPA
My question is, for local and county shows, can I wear long brown boots for showing her?
They are the Mountain Horse Sovereigns, and although I do have a pair of black Sergio Grasso boots, the MH Sovereigns look so much smarter than the Sergios do in black.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated
Thank you for your question.
For local shows or wet days I would use your brown boots. But ideally for county shows it would be better to wear your black boots.
I do hope this will help you and the very best of luck for the season.
