More crime – Newent area

There have been five incidents over the weekend across the forest north.
1. A burglary has taken place in the Crypt area of Dymock. Unknown offenders have jemmied the back door and stole a safe containing jewellery and passports. A white male described as in his twenties wearing gloves and a baseball cap, carrying a box now believed to be the safe was seen getting into small silver vehicle. Incident 148 of the 19th May.
2. A tractor has been stolen from a farm in the Newent area. Cutting equipment has been used to cut a hole in the metal sheeting wall of the barn. A quad bike was also stolen. Incident 105 of the 20th May
3. A garden sun dial was taken from the front garden of a property in the Pauntly area. Incident 263 of the 20th May.
4. Another sun dial was taken from a property in the Knights Green area. It is described as bronze on a plinth inscribed to mum and dad from Angela and Sue, Valued at £350.00. Incident112 of the 21st of May.
5. A Peugeot Estate has been stolen from a farm in the Strawberry Hill area of Newent. The gates were forced open to gain entry.
