PEASEBROOK DENTAL CLINICS

Regular preventative dental care is the best way to avoid a long list of problems including head shaking, bit discomfort, dropping food (‘quidding’) and weight loss. Peasebrook Equine Clinic provides the all-round dental package:

· Our team of equine vets have years of experience and are fully trained in equine dentistry.

· We have an extensive range of dentistry equipment including motorised instruments, headstands, molar and wolf tooth extraction equipment and a dental pick and mirror.

· In some cases our patients will require sedation for their own comfort and safety and also when more advanced procedures are required. Sedation can always be provided at the time of the appointment, rather than having to re-arrange.

· We have the facilities and experience to deal with any dental problem, including those that might require radiography or surgery. Occasionally cases may also require medication such as pain-relief, antibiotics or tetanus antitoxin, and this can be provided at the time of the appointment.

· At each dental appointment a dental chart will be filled in and you will receive a copy of this for your records.

We run a monthly dental clinic at Peasebrook Equine Clinic on the first Wednesday of every month

Please call 01386 853884 to book.

The advantages of bringing your horse along to this clinic include:

Our full clinic facilities are available at the time of the appointment including our stocks and headstands or more advanced equipment should this be required.
