More InformationLooking for a new loan home (or lwvtb) for my 13.1 6 year old mare due to being outgrown by her current loan owner.
Looking for an experienced new home where she will be used and enjoyed. Professionally broken at 2.5years old, turned away and now currently on loan at a yard near Abergavenny where she has been for the past 3 years and has done a bit for everything, proving very keen and quick to learn. Good show jumper and enjoys cross country. She has been hunting, attended pony club camp and local shows, hacking out alone and in company and several fun rides. She has attended jump clinics and has regular lessons. Recently won the 2ft class at the local Pandy show and came 4th in the 2ft 6 class. She has bags of potential and could be a great ODE pony with the right person. Doesn't get over excited, happy for other horses to canter past her etc. Good in open spaces.
Generally good to handle although can be cheeky and stubborn, definitely a character! She is barefoot, good to catch and with farrier. Happy to be ridden alone or in company. Travels in a trailer and a lorry. Happy to live out all year round with both mares and/or geldings. Good with traffic including farm machinery and lorries/motorbikes etc. Good with livestock.
She is still young and green and although generally well mannered and has bags of potential she, like most horses has her bad points. She is a nightmare to clip, and doesn't like injections so the vet need to be nippy. She doesn't like to be left tied up for a long period of time and can pull when being led, although a pressure halter may help with this. She also requires a high doored stable as she has been known to jump out if left in the yard on her own. She is great when in regular use as she get bored easily.
Please contact me for more info.
I would also consider selling her to the right home.
