More InformationLooking for an adult, sensible, confident rider for my 16.2hh Irish cob. He is 8 years old and needs a quiet rider to start taking him out and about. I spent last summer and this winter hacking him out alone and in company, without any problems. Pye is very easy to handle on the ground and in ridden work. Due to work, family and other horse commitments I am not going to be able to get in enough ridding time this spring/summer to start the next phase with him, which will be lessons, jumping and some fun rides. I have had regular flat work lessons on him in the past and he really enjoyed them. But due to me being busy doing up a house I haven’t been able to commit to more than hacking him out since last June. This has been regular though, so it will not take much to bring his fitness levels up enough to start more demanding work with him.
This is not a paid position but am able to pay lesson/fun ride fees. I have a trailer so am able to take you both out and about. Would love to find someone who is committed to build up a strong relationship with him and someone who wants to get out and have some fun with him. He will remain on my yard which is based in North Hfd. Pye is green and due to this is not suitable for a novice rider but has a lovely temperament and seems to take everything in his stride. Looking for a long term rider. Please email me for more information: email@example.com
