Annual Fun Ride through the fabulous private estates of The Harley Estate, Brampton Bryan in north Herefordshire and crossing over the Welsh border to The Stanage Estate in Radnorshire (Powys). A remarkable opportunity to ride two counties and two countries in one day! Virtually off road all the way with private tracks and trails (not normally open the public) through parkland, woodland, forest, heathland and farmland. A very special day out with your horse exploring avenues of trees, carriage drives and deer parks. Many photo opportunities beside a castle, ornamental lake and breathtaking views.
Approx fifteen miles with a shorter lead rein route for children.
Plenty of parking with easy access off the A4113 at Brampton Bryan village between Leintwardine and Knighton.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, homemade cakes and bbq on site. Secondhand tack and clothes stand. Rosettes for all. Some jumps in the park.
First horse check in at 10.00 am
Last horse check in 12.45 pm – must be on the ride by 1.00 pm
Children UNDER 14 £10.00
Children on shorter lead-rein route £5.00
All riders enter at their own risk, have third party liability insurance and hard hats must be worn.
