SAFE and STEADY!

He is a 13.2hh bay roan 12 year old Irish Sports Pony. Has taken my 11 yr old daughter from an 11.3hh kick along to a high octane 14.2hh which she would never have had the confidence to ride before – and all this in just over a year.

Berry has won and been placed SJ, XC, Dressage, Handy Pony, Pony Club Pony and has attended Pony Club including camp. Would WHP. Has also hunted with previous owners in Ireland and Wales ridden by children. Qualified Cricklands (GB Unaffiliated SJ Champs) 2007 and 2008. Jumped double clears and placed 9 th (out of 63) in 2008 in 11years and under 2’3”. Has also qualified for regional UK Riders and been on pony club SJ team. Will trot or canter into jumps. Has taught my daughter to ride a pony with hand and leg. He regularly jumps 2’9” in lessons. He is fine to pick up and put down and you can rev him up or down by how you manage him. Doesn’t buck, rear or run off even when full of corn!

He is a saint in traffic (big lorries, tractors, airplanes, helicopters etc), easy to load, catch, bath, shoe but is a little nervous of clippers. Used to dogs, chickens, sheep. Hacks alone or in company. Handled by my daughter. Up to date vaccs, worming, teeth etc.

Would love him to go to a family home where he could teach a couple of children and really settle as he is a great character. New pony has arrived and he’s feeling bit left out!
