Shropshire hosts England's first three BHS Horses Welcome Approved Establishments
Following the successful launch of The British Horse Society's Horses Welcome scheme in Scotland, a pilot scheme has been carried out in Shropshire before launching it to the rest of the UK. The aim of the Horses Welcome scheme is to be the first quality assured accommodation scheme for horses in the UK. Three applications were submitted as part of the pilot. Assessments were carried out by two of the BHS's Approved Assessors and Horses Welcome Assessor Auditor, Margaret Linington-Payne. She said: "All three establishments passed the assessment with flying colours and I was extremely impressed with the standard of the applicants." Earnstrey Hill House is located in Craven Arms offering beautiful accommodation for humans and horses in magnificent surroundings. Tugford Farm Holiday Cottages and Livery also based in Craven Arms offers 4* accommodation for humans and a supervised safe livery yard for the horses. Situated in Bridgnorth the Dinney Countryside Accommodation offers high quality self-catering cottages and a new stable yard.
