The team of Emma Parkinson, Harriet Brick, Sophie Ball and Emily Mulliner competed against teams from schools across Herefordshire, as well as Worcestershire and Monmouthshire. The Lucton equestrian team finished second overall narrowly missing out on becoming outright champions, but finishing as the highest placed team from Herefordshire, Lucton took the Herefordshire County Dressage Champions award.

The team success was accompanied by some fantastic individual rides, Emma Parkinson finished 3rd and Harriet Brick came 5th overall out of 37 competitors.

“It is a fantastic result – our equestrians are having a fantastic run at the moment and the whole team did brilliantly! Having our own on-site equestrian centre is really starting to benefit the team.” said Emma Coates, Head of Lucton School Equestrian Centre.
