Sapey Cross Country:

The Course - Designed to be inviting and yet suitably testing with choice of fence heights available, built to BE standards. A well-maintained course, all weather take-offs and landings, with good gallops, an ideal course for schooling all year round - weather permitting.

The Facilities - Enjoy the thrill of riding in open countryside. Facilities include dressage and show jumping arenas and toilets. Box parking central to all facilities. Open for hire for organised group events. Open for hire for organised group events and private schooling sessions.

Hilltop XCC is BHS Approved and has over 100 professionally built jumps over 2 miles of well drained 'old' turf. The ground and jumps are well maintained to a high standard.
The jumps, from 1ft 6in to 3ft 6in, include two water complexes, combination jumps, ditches, brush fences, Irish banks, Normandy bank and coffins, as well as show jumps and tracks.
Open 7 days a week for private hire, (including evenings) March to October (ground conditions permitting). No time limit on visit.

Monkland Cross Country Monkland is situated about 8 miles south west of Leominster on the A44. Coming from Leominster as you enter the village there is a right hand turning with a sign post detailing a Cheese Factory. The Course.

  • The course covers one and a half miles, with 23 fences which have 2 options, one level at 2' 6"-3', the other at 2'-2'6" to cater for different levels of rider.

  •  A full junior course has also been constructed and we will shortly be adding new fences to this course.

  • The course includes a water jump, combination fences, coffin and hay cart jumps which, along with the natural terrain makes for a varied and interesting course.

  • An additional water complex has been designed and will be in construction later this year.

  • In order to mitigate the effects of the dry weather, all take off and landing areas have been heavily sanded.

  • The course is available (subject to confirmation) 7 days a week including evenings.
