BHS Challenge Rides Abroad

The year 2000 saw the launch of the first British Horse Society Fundraising Riding Challenge. Since then the challenges have gone from strength to strength.  These challenges raise money for the BHS Welfare Fund.

Planned for 2008 / 2009:

Kyre Equestrian Centre,
run by former Three Day Event and British team rider Tom Durston Smith and his wife Anne, has stabling for ten horses with unlimited grazing, ample parking and easy access to five local hunts.

Lower House Farm is a magnificent 17th century farmhouse set among 220 acres of farmland among the beautiful Herefordshire/ Worcestershire/ Shropshire borders with immediate access to a variety of scenic bridle paths.

The old farmhouse itself has comfortable accommodation for up to six people, including a guests' sitting room and access to the delightful garden and farm walks. Excellent country inns and other tourist attractions are within easy reach.
