Pony Clubs

To find a Pony Club in your area, visit the official Pony Club website: www.pcuk.org

Pony Clubs are for children with their own ponies.  PC’s provide a great opportunity for youngsters to get a good education on horseback as well as in horsecare.  There is also a very good competition structure within the Pony Club, starting with local PC competitions, leading on to Area Competitions and for some, the Pony Club championships.  Many, if not most of today’s top British International riders started their riding career in the Pony Club.

The country is divided into ‘areas’ with each area running area competitions. Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Gloucestershire are mostly  in Areas 9 & 10. You can see which branches each area includes on the Pony Club website here: www.pcuk.org

If you don’t have your own pony, you can still join the Pony Club and take tests by riding at a Pony Club centre. The Pony Club website provides a list of PC centres in your area: www.pcuk.org/index.php/centreswww.pcuk.org/index.php/centres
