Leading riders, coaches, British Eventing selectors and a veterinarian are offering a unique insight into the thrilling sport of three-day-eventing at this year’s Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.

Tina Cook, Gill Watson and Mandy Stibbe are among the names to offer their advice and anecdotes in an action packed timetable from Thursday 3rd May – Monday 7th May.

Tickets are priced at a minimum donation of £10 – with all proceeds going to support Britain’s international equestrian teams, Equestrian Team GBR.

13.00 XC Course walks with British Eventing international riders Richard Waygood and Ben Hobday, British Eventing team selectors; Mandy Stibbe, Angela Tucker and Robin Balfour, and accredited coach Sue Edwards. Minimum donation £20.00 including refreshments.

15.15 Expert advice at the Horse Inspection with British Eventing international riders Nick Gauntlett and Ben Hobday, British Eventing Selectors, Angela Tucker and Mandy Stibbe, Young Horse judge, Sue Clark; and accredited coach Sue Edwards. Minimum donation £10.00 including refreshments.

 

Friday 4th May – meeting at the Equestrian Team GBR Marquee – stand 100

11.15 XC course walk with accredited coach Mandy Lucey – particularly suited for young/aspiring event riders. Minimum donation £15.00

12.45 XC course walk with British Eventing international rider Richard Waygood MBE – ideal for all ages. Minimum donation £15.00

 

Saturday 5th May – meeting at the Equestrian Team GBR Marquee – stand 100

11.15 XC course walk with either (subject to availability) the legendary British youth team coach Gill Watson or young international rider, Ben Hobday. Minimum donation £15.00

12.45 XC course walk with either (subject to availability) the legendary British youth team coach Gill Watson or young international rider, Ben Hobday. Minimum donation £15.00

 

Monday 7th May – meeting in front of Badminton House

07.30hrs  Expert advice at the Horse Inspection with British Eventing international rider Ben Hobday, British Eventing Selectors, Angela Tucker and Mandy Stibbe and veterinarian, Mark Lucey, Minimum donation £10.00 including refreshments.

09.30hrs  Show jumping course walk with international rider Ben Hobday and British Eventing selector Mandy Stibbe – ticket for those also donating for the horse inspection – minimum donation for combined package £15.00 including refreshments.

 

Monday 7th May – meeting at the Equestrian Team GBR Marquee – stand 100

09.00 Welcome refreshment and Show Jumping course walk with British Eventing international rider, Tina Cook  who will be joined (as soon as possible after the horse inspection) by the legendary former Badminton Horse Trials winner, and coach, Lucinda Green.  Minimum donation £10.00 including refreshments.
