Jamie Evans and Mattie Cowherd, both 3 star Parelli Instructors based in Colorado, are currently in the UK running a number of Study Programs and Clinics. Whilst here,  they will be giving a display of Natural Horsemanship at Langstone Court on Sat 7 July at 3pm as part of the entertainment at Llangarron Fete.

This is a rare opportunity to find out more about this approach to riding that uses psychology to build a partnership between the horse and rider based on mutual trust and respect. It promises to be an informative and entertaining spectacle for horse lovers and the general public alike.

They will be demonstrating the first four Parelli “savvy’s”, namely “on line” which is groundwork; “at liberty” which shows the horse free of physical restraint; “freestyle” which is loose rein, bridleless or bareback riding and “finesse” which is precision riding.

The Fete runs from 1.30 to 5pm and includes Archery displays by the medieval re-enactment group  “Bowmen of the Rose”, children’s entertainer Jenny-Any-Dots, Gladiator Duelling, Berry Hill Brass Band plus all the traditional stalls, games and refreshments.

For a quintessential English fete set in beautiful parkland, join us at Langstone Court on Sat 7 July. Entry is £2 for adults, children 16 and under free.
