The week includes a wide range of activites both on and off the horse, all of them geared to help the rider to help the horse.

If you can’t make the full 6 days, you are very welcome to come just for a day or two or simply take advantage of the dismounted work.

Arrow Equestrian is the only centre to offer this level of expertise combining work on the horse with  these complementary techiniques.

I recently injured my knee (skiing under the Eiger) and am in the very fortunate position of having these talented therapists “on hand” to help with my recovery.   I am working on regaining my strength and flexibility and with their help, will be back riding soon and be better than ever! I have also been making full use of the  Spa facitilies at Arrow using the jacuzzi for “aquaexercise”  . These therapists and  facilites are available to all Arrow members and participants at Arrow Week and I highly recommend them.

Meanwhile, I am still able to teach as there is nothing wrong with my  eyes or my voice!  On the website you will find a new video looking at a riders position on the Equine Simulator. It shows both dressage and jumping position, both  before and after corrections.
Back in the stables, my “stable elves”  Sue Spragg, Emma Greenald, Zoe Stirling and Richard Hill  are doing a fantastic job of running the yard and keeping the horses fit and well for my pupils to enjoy. I am wondering how long I can make my injury last…..
