Local riders competing at Barbury International Horse Trials

Amongst the star studded field of entries at Barbury International Horse Trials on 3rd – 6th of July, are local International event riders.

Powys event rider Franky Reid-Warrilow is riding Dolley Whisper in their first CIC 3*. Franky is the current ‘Mark Todd Bridging the Gap Winner’ and as a result of that success, has been enjoying time training with Sir Mark Todd. Franky has dressage training with Charlotte Dujardin.

Herefordshire event rider Louise Harwood has 4 horses entered including Jenga II and Whitsun who also contest the CIC 3*.

Shropshire rider Sophie Wragg rides Sandy City in the CIC2*. Sophie lives right on the Shropshire/Herefordshire/Worcestershire border, not far from another competitor, Ben McClumpha, from Ashford Carbonell, Ludlow. Ben will also be doing the CIC 2* riding Willows Tipster.

Why not head to Barbury which is on from 3rd – 6th July to show Franky, Louise, Sophie, Hannah and Ben your support?!

Many of the world’s top event riders will be competing including many international riders who will be riding at this year’s World Equestrian Games including the Team GB squad of Tina Cook, William Fox-Pitt, Pippa Funnell, Zara Phillips, Izzy Taylor and Oliver Townend. Also, Sir Mark Todd, Andrew Nicholson, Tim Price and Badminton winner Sam Griffiths.
