GREAT Western Air Ambulance Charity provide an air ambulance service for the counties of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and parts of Wiltshire. Caring for a population of over 2.1 million people.

Midlands Air Ambulance is the charity responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances serving the communities of six Midlands counties: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This constitutes the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK. Do you realise that Air Ambulance receive NO Government or National Lottery funding, but rely on fund raising and donations.

GREAT Western Air Ambulance Charity rely entirely on the generosity of you, the people we serve, to raise the £2m we need to continue operating.  Worcestershire jockey Tom Weston had a serious fall during the Cheltenham Festival. Midlands Air Ambulance: Each Midlands Air Ambulance mission costs £2,500 and in excess of £6.5 million is needed each year to keep its three air ambulances operational, which is donated entirely by the public and local businesses, with four in ten of those we help funded by Gifts in Wills.  The Midlands Air Ambulance report they airlift up to 3 horse-riders per week! Read more: www.midlandsairambulance.com/about-us/about-us
