What Classes Would you Recommend?

Question:

Rosscarberrys Queen B 7 year old ISH out of Ramiro z

Hi Claire, I was just hoping for a bit of advice on my ISH as I have recently started showing her with the hope that eventually we can do working hunter. She has a fantastic bold jump and can go to about 1.10 confidently at the moment.

She is 7 however was broken late and had done nothing when I got her as a 4 1/2 year old! What classes would you recommend we start with and also from the picture would you say the tack/ etc is correct?

Answer:

“Your tack looks ok, but you might need a running martingale for extra control for schooling and jumping.  I recommend you do novice workers at the beginning of the season and then progress to open intermediate and show horse breeding.  During the winter it is essential that you both go show jumping and hopefully a lesson or two for some extra advice.

Good luck for next season and please don’t hesitate to ring for any extra help.”
