Theft in the Area – Rural Watch messages

Theft of Ride on Mower – Coombe Hill, Nr Tewkesbury.

Sometime between 30th June and 6th July a yellow ride on mower was stolen from an insecure outbuilding of a house in Coombe Hill.  The mower had been chained to a concrete block but thieves cut the chain.

This is a typical rural crime for this time of year and it is suspected that thieves are using a transit size van to transport away stolen property such as this mower.  If you see such a vehicle and its occupants acting in a suspicious manner please try to obtain the registration number and any other identification details and forward the information immediately to the police using 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk.

If you own property similar to this ride on mower please store it as securely as possible and consider permanently security marking it in some way.  Further advice on the security of this type of item can be obtained by talking to your local Police Community Support Officer or by accessing the Gloucestershire Constabulary website at https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk and looking under the “Staying Safe” menu.
