Hartpury’s BSc Equestrian Sport Science student and Hartpury Equine Academy rider Victoria Leabeater is currently lying in seventh position in the NAF MPower CC1* riding her own Darco IV with a score of 30.7.

“I’ve only owned Darco since November and this is his first three-day event, so I’m really pleased with how he coped with the atmosphere,” said Victoria. “I’m really looking forward to tackling the cross-country with him and hope he has a good, confidence-giving round as he’s definitely my horse for the future.”

Tickets are still available for cross-country day, Saturday 11th, at £5 per person and Sunday’s entry is just £5. Under 16s and parking is free all weekend.
