Charity Flat Race at Hereford

A charity flat race is being run at Hereford Racecourse on March 26th to raise funds for St.Michaels Hospice. The whole day of racing is in aid of the hospice. There are a number of local riders taking part including Louise Harwood, Kerry Lee, Kate Mills, Ireland Pearson, Jo Bowkett, Jess Short, Anita Cook and from a little further afield, event rider Nana Dalton. St Michael’s Hospice Charity Race Day is sponsored by the Clive and Sylvia Richards Charity. Gates open 12.15pm, first race 2.15pm. VIP and fine dining experience available in the Rusty Bridge Restaurant. Eight race card including the charity flat race. Advance booking £16. On the day ticket £18
Hereford Racecourse will donate £1 to the charity for every advance ticket sold. Why not enjoy a fabulous fine dining experience in Rusty Bridge Restaurant where all proceeds will be donated to St Michael’s Hospice. The VIP hospitality includes a delicious two course meal whilst also enjoying the company of Champion Jockey Richard Johnson and BBC 5 Live Racing Correspondent Cornelius Lysaght. Watch the drama unfold on the track, and in the room for the live auction and other entertainment all aimed at raising funds for St Michael’s Hospice.
For those wishing to go that step further, there will be a 100m Dash running race before racing on the finishing straight with advance entry fees of £150 and after racing the first ever St Michael’s Hospice Charity Flat Race will take place as 12 budding amateur riders will have each raised a minimum £1,500.
Private boxes are also available on the day for as little as £75pp and the Private Box Restaurant offers a three course meal from £80.
