For Loan - Miniature Shetland

19yo Miniature Shetland gelding.
32 inches.
Tentatively looking for a loan home for our amazing Gem. Either as a companion and/or tiny tots lead rein.
Gem is a legend. I've had him since he was 18 months old and we love the bones off him. He has been amazing with my 2 daughters who can do absolutely anything with him. Has done several school fairs and tolerates being dressed up and faffed over for hours.
He is bombproof on the roads and in general isn't bothered by anything.
Can be left alone while you ride out, is no bother at all.
Would be ideal for a tiny tot that just wants to potter up and down the lane a couple of times a week and get used to being around ponies.
My girls never rode him off lead so he has no concept of rider aids, therefore is only suitable as a lead rein.
He does unfortunately have small-man syndrome and is quite bossy with his field mates, especially if it involves food. He does make a great Nanny for youngsters though. Currently out with our 3yo Sec A and they get on along wonderfully.
No sweet itch, lami or any other ailments. We do manage his grazing and he lives on a track system in the summer. This is my only stipulation - he unfortunately can't be turned out in a huge, grassy field!
Up to date with feet, dentist and vaccinations.
We will be picky about where he goes and must stay within Herefordshire, as he is very dear to us and my girls would love to pop in for an occasional visit.
Initial 6 month loan contract will be in place.
